Friends of the Library Antlers (FOLA)

The mission of the Friends of the Antlers Public Library Organization INC (FOLA) is to provide financial, advocacy, and volunteer support to Antlers Public Library. We operate to support the goals and objectives of the library and promote public knowledge of the library’s services to enrich the lives in our community.

Be a Friend

Friends of the Antlers Public Library, Inc. (FOLA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization made up of civic-minded men and women. The group consists of a board and a general body of supporters. The board meets once a month to plan projects. The general body meets once a year but may be called upon to help with events.

The Friends work to:

  • Increase awareness of the Library’s resources and services.
  • Develop support for the Library’s activities.
  • Raise funds for items outside of the Library’s budget.

The group has hosted book sales and bake sales, worked to clean closets and plant flowers, applied for grants, even dressed up for Summer Reading. The main project supported is annual participation in the Oklahoma Virtual Library.

Membership

By joining the FOLA general body, you help to fund the Friends projects. Membership fees are due annually.

  • Patron $30
  • Contributor $20
  • Friend $10
  • Buddy $5 (under 18)
